Summary: This section includes information about the general processes involved when you use Alooma to import your data into any of the supported target data warehouses or storage outputs, including how to alter and maintain tables in the data warehouses, information about tables Alooma adds to your data warehouse output, and a general FAQ.
The first step in using Alooma to move your data to the cloud is to set up an output. or "data destination". An output is either a cloud data warehouse (Azure, BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake) or cloud storage (such as S3). Once you have an output configured you can add inputs and the data from those inputs is stored in your output.
If you're looking for the best place to start in understanding how data warehouse outputs work, read the FAQ.
See the articles in the Azure, BigQuery, Redshift, and Snowflake sections for information specific to those outputs. See the articles in the Queries section for information about consolidations and managing queries. See the remaining articles in this section to learn more about working with outputs, including information about the tables Alooma adds to, and how to alter columns in, your cloud data warehouse.
