This article describes getting your Salesloft information into your target data warehouse via a REST API input.
Visit https://developers.salesloft.com/api.html#!/Topic/apikey and generate the key you'll use for authentication later in this procedure.
From the Plumbing page, select Add new input.
Select REST API from the list of inputs.
Enter a name for the input. We’ll use the input name in the UI and to name the events that come from this input. Note that after creation, the input name cannot be changed.
Enter your Salesloft API url and leave the HTTP method as GET. For this example, we're using:
Select Simple Pagination with the Next Result Key as
next_pageand Page Parameter as
You do not need to specify endpoint parameters or a data field as that information is included in the API url (emails.json).
Here's what your REST API input should look like at this point:
Under Advanced Settings, specify a header for the authentication key. The Parameter is
Authorization, the Value is the authentication key from step 1, and the Type is
Click Create Input. That's all there is to it. This is an example of how to retrieve the data in emails.json; however, other data is available. See the Salesloft API documentation for information about using the API: https://developers.salesloft.com/api.html.
