At a high level, the Mapper is how Alooma lets you define how you want the data from your inputs to appear in your output (data destination). The Mapper is adapted to your particular type of data destination, so it allows you to create a table (or schema, or dataset, if relevant) and decide how to name and to what data type to map every piece of data that flows into your system.
Mapping can be a tedious task, especially when you have a lot of varied (and changing!) data, so Alooma's Mapper lets you set and forget by giving you the option to automatically map your data, and to automatically do so for any new data that appears. You can also define what data you don't want to reach your target data destination, quickly and easily.
