Once we set up a user for SSH, support will contact you and provide you with the username.
Then, set up a reverse SSH tunnel using the command:
autossh -M 0 -f -N -R <high-port>:<redshift-host>:5439 <USERNAME>@tunnel.alooma.io -g -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa -o ServerAliveInterval=10 -o ServerAliveCountMax=1 -o ExitOnForwardFailure=yes
It is recommended you run the command using
runsv or a similar service monitor.
When setting up the connection to your Redshift cluster, set
tunnel-i.alooma.io as the host and
<high-port> as the port.
